Family connection
On a Windows PC with ClearGuard installed and paired, this browser connects automatically when the parent assigns this standard Windows account to a child in the Family portal. Administrator accounts remain unassigned.
Browser-only fallback: Use the code below only on a device that cannot connect through the ClearGuard Windows app, such as a Chromebook. Each child needs a separate browser profile, and each profile must be paired once to that child.

Connect to your classroom
Sign in through your school’s ClearGuard student portal, join the classroom, and select Connect installed extension.
Privacy
Family rules come from the assigned child profile. Classroom rules come from the connected classroom. ClearGuard checks the current website hostname to apply rules, but does not collect screenshots, keystrokes, messages, camera, microphone, location, page contents, or saved browser history.
Optional and off by default. When enabled, ClearGuard can share the titles and website domains of currently open tabs with the connected family or school portal and allow a teacher to close a tab. Website blocking works without this access.
